Hi all, just a quick question.
How many of you get your windows cleaned by actual window cleaners and how do you make sure the dogs are out the way?
I only ask because my window cleaners usually come round on the first Monday of every month. Now, when I get up in the morning, I let the dogs out, make a coffee and then go in the shower and get ready etc. But, today, the window cleaners appeared out of the blue. No prior warning and Skip was outside. Luckily Dexter is at my aunt's.
I didn't hear them coming and I heard Skip bark once or twice. I eventually went downstairs because I heard their ladders. When i got downstairs, they were in the back garden and the conservatory door was open and Skip was in the garden.
He jumped up at one of the window cleaners who then shouted at him to get off. So, I went outside, picked Skip up and took him inside.
I waited until they left before letting Skip out again and luckily, I checked the two gates beforehand. Low and behold, they had left the back gate wide open before leaving
I'm angry. But I can't quite figure out if I'm being irrational.
What if fear aggressive Dexter had been here? The whole reason I asked them to come on a specific day of the month was because of the dogs. The old man who used to clean our Windows and who both dogs lived, has retired and now I have these two young lads who don't seem to care at all...
Is this the norm with window cleaners?
