Haha.........look at the miserable face in the second one.....he hates being stopped to pose at the beginning of walks :ROFLMAO:
Was the last one chip begging? :)

We had a lovely time, and you bought a little joy into an old dogs life...........He certainly had you two sussed ;)
Er no, he wasn’t expecting a chip at that point 😉

well, Im currently baking the worlds most disgusting cake! :D
Heidi isnt adapting as well as I hoped to having no teeth and is getting super fussy with food. Hard kibble is too hard, soaked kibble is too (idk? soft? kibbley?) and wet food is an instant ick.
The only thing she will reliably eat is her bedtime snack (a mini peanut butter sandwich). So is it the taste? or the texture?
Obviously she cant live on peanut butter sammiches but texture I can work with....

Hence me currently cooking a cursed cake made from a tin of dog food, flour, oats and peanut butter!! Its either a great idea or a crime againest humanity!!:ROFLMAO:

(whatever happens Hannah the garbage disposal dog will dispose of the evidence if Heidi doesnt like it!)

Just noticed this on the Royal Mail email, shame it’s come to this but good on them trying to protect staff (when we finally get a parcels lol)
One of my posties carries dog biscuits. Think all the dogs love him.

We did have an incident previously though when royal mail threatened to not deliver to the whole lane because of a neighbours dog. She was free to wander and would terrorise everyone who walked by.

OH had an email from a vet yesterday, saying welcome to you and Muddy................Muddy died in 2018 and OH had swapped away from this vet about 6 months before.

I know that the owner has recently retired and they will be making changes and contacting clients, but surely they should no longer have OH's details anyway?

well, yesterdays Cakenstein was a success! Heidi liked it so today Im giving her half a slice twice a day and that seems to be the right amount for her.
Hopefully she will continue to eat it as I need to make some improvements (could use more flour and I could probably crush up her joint supplements and add those too).
Sadly that means once a week my house will smell like the worlds worst meatloaf but olfactory sacrifices must be made! :D

He certainly is. He's the cleverest dog I've owned. He picks things up very quickly.
I remember it took a year to teach Suzie to give a paw, bless her. It took Zak a week, mind you he stands doing it. I haven't mastered sit because he doesn't, he's only sat twice since we've had him and he looks so uncomfortable.

I took Zak on his evening walk tonight. It was dark and walking along he kept looking up at me. I realised there was someone walking a dog on the other side of the road and he was looking for his treat for not reacting!
Whisp does this, and like Zak sometimes she notices triggers before me. Its amazing when training pays off. Well done to both of you !
