(Stole this idea from the cat chat but it looked really fun so... :Bag:p)

(Not sure if we have one of these threads already but-) Ever wanted to make a new thread on random doggy stuff but felt it didn't belong in a thread?
I'll start -
A few days ago on our walk, Cookie managed to roll herself in loaaads of mud, and then decided to run up to everybody we passed in the woods and ask for a cuddle! :Arghh I put her lead on after a while because it was getting too embarrassing :p It took ages to wash it all off afterwards too!

This morning I took her to Pets@Homes and bought her some food that we haven't tried before - it looks quite good and she likes the chicken. Has anyone tried it? It's called Natures Menu Adult - Here's what it looks like-

Also Bonus photo of a big stick she found this morning :D

Chase has had quite the week...lol
We had snow, so that was exciting. Scary for me as it was quite icy too!
He nearly caught a cat. Let him out the back (enclosed garden, 6 foot fence) for a pee...heard something on the deck, there's a cat sitting in the corner looking surprised that suddenly there's a dog!
He flew over there, the cat scrambled up the fence, couldn't make it, ran for the tree, climbed, slipped, climbed again, finally made it up, ran along the fence, over the hut roof, into the neighbours tree...
There was nothing I could do it all happened so fast. But thinking about it, I think if he had wanted to, he could have got it, but he didn't.
So I don't think we will see that cat again...
He's not usually bothered if he sees them out, or squirrels either, so pretty sure it was just because it was in his garden and he was telling it to get lost!
Then today...hubby left the butter (unsalted) on the counter, then left the kitchen door open. So guess who ate a whole thing of butter? Feeling a bit sorry for himself but he's done it once before (that one was my fault) with no ill consequences, so fingers crossed!

What a dog...🙄🤣

That feeling you get when you phone the vet and before you give yours or your pets name they know who you are .....
(I was phoning to arrange a follow up appointment)

Just a little Bungo update:
Bungo is spending most of the day sleeping (not surprisingly), but I realised today that he hasn't asked for hip rubs all week, he loves hip rubs, I normally get presented with his rear end 20 + times a day, also he likes to lean against me side on and have me rub him all over one side, that hasn't happened either :(

Happy 14th birthdays to the gruesome twosome
For the last 10years they've made me smile every day
and
they honestly are the best second hand dogs I've ever had

Foglia fit hale and hearty, still happy to go running with my 15yr old grandson once a day
Falcor, well starting to sundown, had a fit the other night, scared the living daylights out of me, at 2am I honestly thought he was dying in my arms,
However, all bloods, urine, and, examinations clear (just like my bank right now) and heart murmur stable, according to vet, carry on as normal, just not to get him too excited, and make him lose some weight
and
I " have to expect these things from this age forward"
Here's to as many more years and smiles as I can possibly have with them

Unapologetic pic spam

Happy birthday to your beautiful babies! :D
Still going for runs at 14 is quite an achievement!
Heidi is the same age as Falcor and pretty much in the same state. No teeth, going blind, wobbly and loses her balance at times and sometimes stares aimlessly into space but bloods, check-ups all fine so merrily pottering through life!;)

CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!

Of all the programmes to bring back, ch4 are bringing back that stupid programme about how to breed your dogs
With rescues full
New bans incoming
And
Puppy prices through the floor
Why do they think a programme,
promoting unethical breeding,
would be the best thing to be touted as 'entertainment'🤬🤬🤬
Yes I've heard a lot of people are up in arms on social media about this programme, which for once I think is a good thing. There are too many puppies without encouraging more.
