Hello, could anyone tell me why the Pets4Homes website seems to be unavailable? I was arranging to visit a cat with the hopes of adopting but now I can't get back on the site. Thank you.

Hi Laura, it's working for the majority of people, however the site had a network issue yesterday night, and if you visited the site during this time I think it has cached the error settings. This should be resolved soon, but we are waiting for the dns settings to update. You could try resetting your internet router and clearing your browser history to see if this fixes the issue. Or if you google how to flush your dns settings for your computer/device, you maybe able to gain access sooner.

If anyone still can't get on the website and is using a desktop, laptop running windows, let me know if you have some free time and would like to help us trace the issue on your pc.

Thanks
Hi. I'm with BT and use a laptop running Windows Vista. Two days ago I had no problem (I visit the site every day) but yesterday I couldn't get on and I still can't today.

Hi Maggie (and everyone else), If your using a windows, desktop or laptop, please could help us by running an application on your device for us and copying and pasting the results in an email so we can see what the network issue is :

Follow these instructions :

1) Visit the page/link below and download one of the 2 applications, depending on if you have windows 32 or 64. If your laptop or desktop is newish it will probably be windows 64 that you want

http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/

2) Once you have downloaded it, a download box should appear at the bottom of the screen, if you double click on it it should open file manager.

You should see 2 folders, one saying "WinMTR_x32" and one saying "WinMTR_x64". Double click on one of them, and then you see a file called "WinMTR.exe". Double click it and then choose to "Run" it.

3) The application should then run in a popup box, and you should be able to enter "pets4homes.co.uk" without the quotes in the "Host" box. Once you have done this and it runs, click on the "Copy test to clipboard" and then paste it in an email to me (support@pets4homes.co.uk) as it should contain the results. Or post the results here.

Many Thanks
Mark
