I had it over covid with Tilly’s medicated shampoo. There was a worldwide shortage, the vet couldn’t get it either.
I was only concerned as the prescription was going to expire and I still had several bottles left on it.
Thankfully it came back in stock just in time.
Might be worth contacting your usual place to see when they might expect stock to come back in.

I did ring my usual supplier, who have 2 months worth of Holly's prescriptions, but they simply don't know.

 

That is really worrying for you. Candy was on incurin and propalin. I cant imagine what I would have done if I couldnt have sourced them. She didnt leak small amounts, she emptied her bladder completely when she was lying in a warm place or asleep.

 

Keeping my fingers firmly crossed the online pharmacies will have Incurin back in stock this week.

 

Just to update. Fortunately my vets had Incurin in stock which was a huge relief. The fact that is cost 150% more than the online pharmacies was slightly irritating but hey ho it's only money....LOL

 

My veterinary practice released a statement today informing clients of a worldwide shortage of Incurin They do do not know when it will be back in stock.
So far all my enquiries have been unable to determine the reason for the shortage , other than it is a supplier issue.

 

Supposedly it should be back in stock at the beginning of August. There doesn't appear to be a shortage in the USA or Europe. I managed to order some from Ireland.

 

May i ask where from in Ireland, im in the same boat for my lil girl x

Oh no although I'm not surprised as they were being inundated by orders from mainland Britain. Fortunately I got my order.

 

I've been trying to order Incurin online for 6 weeks now with no joy. I've had to order from my vet twice now at £50.80 for each 30 tab box. My prescription has also expired with repeats still on it. Nobody can advise when they will be getting more supplies. It was suggested to me that as incurin is a hormone drug limited supplies of an ingredient could mean that it is not being made as the ingredient is needed for a human drug(s).

 

It's a nightmare isn't it? I had to order from my vet in June but they have also run out now.

 

Our girl was on Incurin which worked, they ran out and she has now been on propalin syrup for a week. Tonight she was wet. I fear it is not working

 

Oh dear. That is also my worry. Fingers firmly crossed that it will be back in stock next month.

 

It really does sound a dreadful situation. My old dog was on propalin for years then needed incurin as well. She still had the odd incident which became more frequent. I put vetbed on top of a waterproof bed then at least she did not get any urine on her as it soaked straight through.
