Moth Cat is obsessed with eating buttons his latest fixation is the clear buttons on my duvet.
It took me a little while to cotton on as the noise in the dark sounded like he was grooming/biting his toe nails.

I find verbally telling him off makes no difference so i simply remove the button and fabric out of his mouth and tuck it under, once we do this dance a few times he gets the picture and stops.

This is a new duvet set, i bought it twice i loved it so much.
Do i just need to get crafty and replace the buttons with ribbons?

He will chew popper buttons also.

I am just worried he is going to accidently...or on purpose eat the buttons when i am out and get a blockage; he has been very persistent today.

Think one of my mum's did. One also had a thing about rubber bands. Bottom line - we had to just make sure they weren't left around.

My lurcher chewed the wooden button on my slippers - so I've cut them off.

If you can avoid him doing it for a while, he may forget all about them. Alternatively, smear something foul tasting on them?
