Hi there, i'm new to the site. Me and my husband recently rehomed a lovely 10month old Border Collie called Roxy. We've had her about a week now and is settling in fine. She wasnt eating dog food at first as her owners were feeding her scraps but now she's eating thank fully as she is very skinny.
We have a cat and they're getting on great, except Roxy keeps trying to heard her, but doesnt seem too much of a problem, except when she occasionally nips, which is rare and i usually stop her as can tell when shes about to. When she's outside she's a lively little things running around fetching a ball but inside she seems quite nervous still. we give her lots of cuddles and affection, i'm wondering if its the cat that she's still a bit on edge about? does anyone know of anything else we could do to make her feel more 'at home' inside? or should i be counting my blessings that shes not as active inside lol.
the only other thing is she doesnt play with toys, we've bought her a fair few but has shown no interest in them after plenty of encouragement. we tought her to fetch with the ball but thats all she'll play with.
