No disrespect to your choice of food! but have you checked the JWB ingredients of late! They were taken over a couple of years back by the mars group I believe!! erm! can't say I am a fan!
lol

Have they changed? I've just put Cheeko back on it because his eyes are a total mess with tearstaining with other food. He's only been on it a few days and his tear staining have dried up so I'm just waiting on the coat to grow to cut it all out. Really hard trying to feed the 2 of them because Royal Canin makes Cheeko ill and JWB makes Blu ill

Yep! a couple of years back! but who am I to say!!! if it suits then why worry about the politics behind the company!
Have you ever tried Arden Grange?

Ah, yes that wee urban myth... The ingredients have stayed the same! They still manufacture in they same way the always have! So, has sister company RC.

I have posted a while back about this take over, and corrected a few urban myths on it! :D

I tried my lot on Applaws a short while back, but I am back with JWB! ;)

No never tried any other 'good' food apart from JWB. I think for now I will just leave them on the same foods til Blu is a year old then try changing them because I don't want to set Blu's stomach off again. Really set him back on house training and he's only toilet trained now at 5 months after it all.

I dont smoke and hardly drink, and dont buy all the luxury foods for me or the kids just normal supermarket brands.

I feed my sasha on whiskas and that is the only thing she will eat. A lot of people dont agree with that, but it isnt the cheapest by a long shot, it is expensive i think. :)

You dont have to justify what you spend or what you feed your pets. :D :) and supermarket brands are not always cheap, I agree

Reading through this I thought I would tott up what my two kittens cost me food wise per month.

So here goes

They eat Purely wet food, 2 1/2 pouches a day so for a week that is 18 pouches. Monthly it works out at ÂŁ23.34

Then they have Go-cat dry food down for munchies whilst I am at work and that is about ÂŁ4 a month.

Not to mention the treats which my OH insists they have to have I would say that is ÂŁ10 a month.

Blimey

Same here Kath! :D I have tried Jinks on other food but he just wont touch it but I do try to compensate by giving him some fresh meat and fish too- he loves sardines, tuna and mackeral , I think if your cat is happy and healthy it doesnt really matter what price it costs!

My sasha is the fussiest cat ever and i couldnt even give her fresh fish or meat as she would not go back to whiskas pouches, so unfortunately she has to stay on the pouches and go-cat bisuits. xx
