Hi.
Have anyone use an electric nail trimmer grinder to clip cat's nail?
I want to replace my cat's old nail clipper. I plan to buy an electric nail grinder at imeshbean.
But I worry if it doesn't work very well, and for some electric nail clipper, it usually has a little noise when using it. Cats may be scared.

Possibly the electric trimmer might be useful for a dog's claws which can be quite hard to cut. I don't see any advantage for using it for a cat's claws which are tiny in comparison to a dog's and easy to trim the ends off.

The main problem with trimming a cat's claws is getting the cat to allow their paws and claws to be touched in the first place. Once a cat is willing to tolerate that, snipping the claws is easy. Only the front claws on a cat need clipping after all.

I saw the marketing information on those clippers you looked at says they are "very quiet". I would take that claim with a good pinch of salt frankly! I don't believe there's such a thing as a 'very quiet' pair of trimmers or clippers......not quiet enough for a cat to tolerate anyway.

If it's the little usb chargeable thing then save your money as they don't have any oomph to file down the nail, if it's a Dremel type then yes they work but I wouldn't go near a cat with one and I value my face and fingers, it would have to be a very tolerant cat to use any of these gadgets and if they are that tolerant then it's easiest just to cut them, I really rate the Great and Small Cat Clippers I use them on the cat and dogs.
