Why don't you give him the cat food you already have when he is settled, until then don't make any drastic changes to his food.

 

I agree with Vanessa, best not to make any sudden changes to the kitten's diet or it could cause an upset tummy.

If you want a wet food that's available in supermarkets, go for 'Felix As Good As It Looks Kitten Food', which is liked by most kittens and although not a great quality food it's a good place to start when you are weaning a kitty off dry food onto wet.

Once you've got him off the dry food then you can slowly introduce better quality wet foods such as Feringa Kitten, Hilife Kitten, Natures Menu Kitten etc. But only a teaspoonful at first of the new, on a saucer alongside his regular food. If he eats the new food then gradually increase the amount of the new whilst decreasing the amount of the old food.

 

as above, good quality foods are fine for cats and kittens, but to start with keep him on his food he's currently eating to prevent any upset tummies.
