Reliability: 5*
Cuddle power: 5*
Comfort: 5*
Versatility: 5*
Overall: 5*

Do not be fooled by the wonky eyes on this 2007 vintage model. It can detect butter from the other end of the house while still asleep.
Softly upholstered in a cozy grey, this model is ideal for when you need warm cuddles. A reasonably loud purrbox adds a relaxing soundtrack.
A truly versatile model, this will adapt to any environment, from rural cottages and exploring the outdoors to one bedroom flats and comfortable houses with no outside access. Rest assured your Flint will fit in and cause no trouble.
The Flint understands that hair floating around the house can be messy, therefore it is attracted to the hoover and will happily prostrate itself right in the way to ensure it doesn't get left out.
Nothing fazes the Flint. It enjoys outings, whether to the Cattery or the vets and will load itself into the cat box. Visitors? Not a problem. Your Flint will greet them with a cheerful purr and may stare at them, or the end of its nose, or somewhere in between until they give him cuddles.
If you want a gentle squishy friend who makes you smile this is the model for you!
For an initial outlay of £50 this product has been amazing value for money.

Model: Asher
Value for money: 5*
Reliability: 4*
Functionality: 5*
Comfort: 4*
Overall: 4.5*

This model does what you want it to the majority of the time, although often tries to help with things that aren't really helpful. It has nice patterns and is as soft as when first purchased. It may not look soft from a photo, but do not be fooled. The Asher has served me well for the past year and a half, and I can imagine it will for the next few years too. One functionality issue I have found with it is that it often asks to be recharged when I have just recharged it already, and makes an annoying yowling sound until you do again. The cuddle feature works pretty well most of the time, but be prepared for it to have a mind of it's own and want it's own way. Overall it was a super good buy, would highly recommend. Very friendly.

The Munchy.

Versatility .................4
Reliability..................3
Durability...................10
Value for money........ 0
Cuteness....... Overload!

Bought this munchy in 2019 for a pretty penny, fell into the trap of overpaying to make sure he is in a good home!

Can honestly say the munchy is very reliable, especially as a leg scratcher, drinks tester and overall laugh maker.

The Munchy is a very durable product, can scale curtains and jeans without any effort and the batteries included last at least an hour of full on zoomies, plus a couple more smaller zoomies each night.

Other additional features of this particular model include cat detector - a loud and repetitive BOW OH WOWAH is emitted when another cat is within viewing distance. Bread maker - 4 sharp claws on the front attachments knead cushions for your comfort.

I have found the Munchy is quite expensive to run however, after the initial start up fee of some many pounds I've found the monthly upkeep is very expensive as it will run one type of fuel in the morning then a different brand/type/flavour in the evening, as he didn't come with instructions Ive not been able to keep up with which fuels are for when.

Overall still the best purchase of 2019, im overwhelmed with how lucky I am to be his owner for next many years!

The Skye

Value for money - 5*
Prettiness - 5*
Loveability - 5*
Tortieness- 5*
Versatility -2*

The Skye was a premium model at £550 6 years ago coming with a 4 generation certified pedigree. She has been good value for money as she has travelled many 1000s miles all around the U.K. to cat shows and over to the World Show in Holland. She has required very little maintenance by the technicians outside her regular annual service. She runs well on all fuel with exception of milk and isn't fussy on which fuel is provided.

The Skye gets 5* prettiness as she is a very warm golden Tortie classic tabby and white, although its coat does attract slugs. However except for slug removal it requires minimal brushing despite being very floofy. She holds a minimum of a grand title in the 3 main registries in the U.K. is frequently best of bred and has been best in show a couple of times.

The Skye is very loveable and gets bonus points as it doesn't love with its claws out. It sleeps on its bed at night on the chest of drawers when at home, however if we are away from home to ensure I don't get cold when in bed on my own it turns into a scarf. The themomstat is a bit out as it still does this in the summer.

Tortieness comes as standard with the colour selection, this translates to not doing something it doesn't want to and there is no way you can change its mind. Pilling is down at your own risk if it doesn't approve of the tablet. Due to the tortieness malware installed with the colour selection, it reduces the versatility to a score of 2.

Basil has been wonderful value for money, and very easy to use. He is reliable, and reliably friendly and purry. His coat has improved a lot since this photo was taken.

Dennis

Value for money 5*
Ease of use 3*
Reliability 5*
Overall rating 5*
Dennis is a young model and it shows. He has 5* for reliability as he can be relied on to be naughty, and to enjoy being made a fuss of. However using him can be very difficult - he can teleport himself through closed doors, perch on top of doors, jump on top of tall Billy book cases (not quite from the floor) and eats anything including chopped tinned spinach, filled pasta and loves licking out the pan from the bread maker after I've made dough.

However he brings joy into my life hence the 5* overall rating.

I've seen pictures of both Basil & Dennis before & I absolutely LOVE them. Such handsome boys xx

@OrientalSlave as a side question, not knowing anything about Orientals, could you tell me if Basil or Dennis is the "better" example of an Oriental and the reasons why? If you have a spare minute or two...

I'm loving this thread :)

Careful @Mrs Funkin you are getting into tricky territory with that question! In any case, the standard of points is very slightly different for Orientals and Siamese. The Oriental SOP specifies the wedge should be 'avoiding exaggerated type' whereas the Siamese SOP does not use those words. (Basil is the Oriental and Dennis is the Siamese.)

@OrientalSlave Basil looks so like Gam in that pic. He used to hold his ears like that sometimes too.

Silver Skye a.k.a Miss May

Value for money - 0*
Prettiness - 5*
Loveability - 5*
Tortieness- 3*
Versatility -4*

The silver Skye model a.k.a Miss May is the tortie tabby version who prefer the silver look. 5* for prettiness as this model comes in high grade silver without any tarnish. The model also comes with the 'peachy' paw that comes down the lineage.

Very loveable with a nice engine hum, not too loud but loud enough. The licking feature has be uninstalled so you can enjoy a cuddle without a wash.

The colour selection does mean the tortieness malware has been installed but the silver antiviral software running keeps this in check most of the time. This improves the overall versatility score.

However this model is definitely value for money requiring multiple trips to the technicians to be hand fed tuna at great expense.

This has deducted from the overall versatility rating but the good points outweigh the poor value for money.

Glad they bring pleasure. Basil has got his ears rather upright in that photo, maybe I need to find one where he's more relaxed. Basil is a GrCh, Dennis hasn't been shown though he's only just an adult in show terms. He did weigh 4.4kg not so long ago...
