Arny you're always welcome on that side; and you have such beautiful cats.
I've joined that other forum, mainly to keep up with the news of members I've come to know.
Thank you, it’s not that people aren’t welcoming it’s just sometimes it can feel you’re talking to yourself
You always make the effort.

Roast chicken for Hannah tonight as she is a birthday girl!:D
She is now 17 yrs old. Doing well, apparently has heart disease (no symptoms though), abit hard of hearing and arthriticky joints but she is happy enough. Still going on a few short walks, although not too many but then again she was never a big walker to start with.
Just shocking that that teeny 6 week old puppy I could hold in my palm is now a little old lady!:giggle:

nothing like a bit of roast chicken to brighten the eyes.

Happy Birthday Hannah, enjoy your chicken!

Hello. How are all you're dogs doing ?

I've been with Whisp for over 10 years now and I struggle to think of life without her.
I cherish every moment I spend with her.
Whisp looks comfy there, nice to see you back.
*pictures of all you're beautiful dogs please .
Happy to oblige with a pic of Dan taken sometime in June, he'll be 7 on October.

An unhappy Hilde but the picture made me chuckle (evil mother) she managed to chew the wart on her leg again as we thought it was sorted and well on the way to being all healed up but she had other ideas, so we are swapping between the doughnut of doom and a light wrapping of vet wrap. She is absolutely fine in the DofD it was just the way she was laying.

I was in the vets and an older guy with a dog with no eyes came in.
He was saying left, right, little step (for the scales). Don’t think the dog had any idea  but the whole thing was very sweet.
Sounds like the old guy regularly gives his dog instructions so maybe the dog has learnt left and right at least?

The dog seemed like it may have been deaf too but as I know all too well that doesn’t stop you talking to them.
Pip JRT x and libby chi x getting old. Libby is nearly 14 and recently diagnosed with pulmonary oedema secondary to congestive heart failure. She is on meds and doing well so far. đź’—
That’s good she’s responding well.

Seems like alot of us have elderly dogs at the moment. I joined when I first got Adam and Hannah 17 yrs ago (holy crap! thats a long time!!LOL).
Heidi's dementia has regressed her right back to puppyhood. I have to take her to her puppy pads several times a day, esp after meals and waking up....and because of the whole zero teeth situation her meals are now mixed with water to make a gruel (that she gets everywhere! ).
It really is like having a little baby dog again, esp given she probably only weighs about 5Ibs at this point!
