has this been mentioned yet. It seems to be the latest thing.

A onesie for pets that claims to help prevent them from shedding hair around their owners' homes has been criticised by a celebrity dog trainer.

Steve Mann, who is helping to train Lorraine Kelly's adorable new terrier puppy Angus, appeared on the presenter's daytime TV show to voice his concerns over the garment, promotional pictures of which have been causing controversy on social media.

The Shed Defender is a stretchy mesh suit designed to cover a dog's body and all four legs, and is billed as allowing owners to take their dogs 'wherever you want without worrying about leaving a trail of hair'.

But unconvinced Steve, who said looking at the suit was making him feel 'stressed', told Lorraine: 'If you don't want dog hair in your house, guess what you shouldn't have in your house? A dog!'

After working in a groomers and seeing what damage putting jumpers some dogs could do to some dogs, as the owners left jumpers on without consideration to the fur underneath and the fur would felt.. Suffice to say am not a fan.

Maisie is short coated, yes she has her inside jumper. If Stan feels the cold I wouldn't hesitate to put a jumper on him, but I would take it off and brush at various times.

Oh good grief!
Bates wears fleece 'jammies' in the house when it's particularly cold, he hasn't needed them this winter yet. I can't tell if they help with the hair or not, but he's not much of a shedder to begin with.
The dogs who shed badly are going to be the ones who don't need the extra heat held in anyway.
