Please can someone post what it's going on about, in "tiggerwillow is as thick as two short planks of wood" language?

tried reading them and cannot make sense of them

Hello,

Did you have specific questions I can answer? There is really only one change being made in the TOU which is to prevent AI companies from being able to scrape the forum without authorization.

Am I getting banned for the email explaining my concern? I#m sorry managing to get into a panic in case history is going to repeat itself (mysupportforums staff banned me for having a abusive stalky ex, basically, and they said I just have to live with what he did cause they couldn't give less of a crap if they tried) :(

No, you will to not get banned.
You are right VS do to not give a toss. That does to be apparent into the eay they do to conduct themselves across all of their forums and the actions they do to condone, but the moderators here at least do to care about you and your worries Tiggerwillow. By their accounts with me into the the past 22 days they do to have very little powers into comparison to the powers i did have moderating for VS elsewhere onto a different forum. But that does to not mean you will to get banned for voicing a concern.

I'll delete that post that I did just as soon as I know the vsadmin has seen it :(

would the vsadmin knowingly do stuff to put members in real life danger? that's what I'm getting into a panic over :(

#11 ·
Not something like that. No.
If you do to feel you are in danger then to refer to your emergency support plan, and call the police if you do to feel threatened.
I do take it you do have an emergency support plan put into place if not to discuss with your therapist/councillor and or GP and to get one in place for your own sense of security.

ok I'll stop talking about :poop:🤡 now, think people have the general idea by now as to why I'm so worried over what information the vsadmin are wanting to pass on to other people :(

It will to not be sold on to the general public.
It will to be bounced between big corporations that VS do to do business with. That will to be marketing, management, advertisers, AI companies, and things like that.
They do to of specifically said they will do so if they do deem it relevant to the operations of their business. Which does to encompass a huge array of things and companies.
What i do to have issue with is to not have any ability to remove my words here, and that they do to not deem it neccessary to tell anyone when they do to pass on and sell our information, but also do to absolve themselves of any privacy protections they do to hold as they do so.

VS may to treat our data into a secure and private way. But they cannot, (and are saying they will not) guarantee our data will to be treated the same, or even into acxordance with any privacy laws at all when sold on. And they will to not tell you who or when this does to occur either.

For me, that is enough.

She's now back to old tricks, apparently the corner of the laptop is a snack, she's just tried chewing the corner again (gently stopped her) <3

Hello,

For information on how we use your data please see the Privacy Policy.
Another thread is saying that you will be selling our data to third parties and that is concerning some people. It’s being discussed on the ‘I am spam’ threads.
We don't currently sell data to third parties as far as I am aware. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Like Jobeth said there's a lot of discussion about our private information getting given to anyone who asks for it, I emailed about it as I'm honestly that concerned over it
We don't provide private information to anyone, let alone anyone who "asks for it".

If you would like your account deleted under GDPR or any applicable privacy law for your region (like CCPA for California residents). Please use the Contact Us form present at the bottom of every page.

BULLSHIT.

Your Selling of information is literally there into black and white.
You do to even give the definition of "Selling".

GDPR allows this so long as it is consented to.
You do to weasel around it by to force compliance with using the site.
You do to also use slimy words like "legitimate interest" to disguise the selling of said data.

Please don't spams ban me :(

@tiggerwillow please don't worry so much about being banned. You're not doing anything wrong or that will get you banned.
Besides, even if you did get banned from here, that would not apply to other forums so you could still find most of the kind folks on here :)
