After seeing very positive reviews I have been ordering Marro cat food. Each pouch is sealed airtight and given that the 'use by' date is up to A Year Hense WHY saying fridge storage or freeze...???

Because it is fresh food which goes off of not stored correctly i.e. in the fridge if being used within 7 days or in the freezer if being kept for longer.
