Loki Belly again

After a period of calm Loki has been having incidents of vomiting in the morning or night again often bile. It’s happened about 4 times since Christmas.

Poop fine, energy levels fine. He has a big meal before bed which normally keeps it at bay. Really struggling with changing his food as he is fussy he was having tinned but was turning his nose up. When he doesn’t eat it is worse. Currently back on raw with kibble.

I had a vet appointment yesterday we are going to try some different anti acid tablets.

Is there anything else that could be causing this ? It’s so upsetting to see my boy uncomfortable.

Oh dear not again, poor Loki. I will say that I find 'fussy' dogs aren't actually fussy, they just don't have the best relationship with food as it makes them ill. So they get fussy and only eat stuff they really fancy. I'm sure there are some dogs that are truly fussy when it comes to flavour and texture, but generally I find this kind of fussy that comes with food issues is more related to the illness rather than not actually liking the food if that makes sense? Not that it's helpful to your situation, but might make you look at it differently. And if he's had stomach problems he won't always be up for trying new stuff, but rather food he knows he likes.

I know bless him it's difficult you think it's sorted then find yourself driving around Boxing Day looking for an open shop to buy him a steak lol. It's such a shame a year ok he'd eat anything and would work for kibble. I just don't know what's caused it.

So sorry to hear Loki has had a flare up.
Heidi has too. My fault because I forgot what I think could be a trigger but it’s so complex.
Ive been tired with disturbed sleep and missed it.

She is definitely triggered by an outside influence in wet winter conditions. I remembered avoiding certain fields last year(and always woodland) kept her well. Avoided them, started BIonic Biotics and she’s improving.
She has her last meal before I go to bed. Recently I’ve increased it slightly and decreased others a bit.
Raw is definitely out. I think it’s the smaller amounts fed and also increased acid production to digest.

When Heidi first had it I put her on a 50/50 carb/meat kibble. Now she has Eden with very little carb. As mentioned, I’m sure hers has an outside trigger for her to be well every summer but who knows :(

We took some when it first started but only for 10 days we've been given some different ones to try for longer and the vet has asked to speak to us next week. His meds arrived today. He's had a bad morning this morning only just eaten I have stayed in with him and had a cuddle he seems well now he's eaten and is running around with my post.

I do feel your pain, my little Tango had a very sensitive tummy but she never lost her appetite. It seems that she would eat to try and settle her tummy.
Sorry if I've missed it but did you try Bionic Biotic or Tree Bark powder? They really helped her when she had a flare up. Chicken was her main trigger but she was a scavenger too which didn't help.
