Usually around the neck area? The people I got her from said they deflead her a couple of days ago, but not sure how much I trust them.

can I deflea her again? If so how?

Treatment's aren't instant and may need a bit longer to be in full effect, keep an eye on the symptoms over the next 4 or 5 days. Ask the people the brand/type used.

One can be sure and do it oneself, I use advantage 40 a spot on treatment from Bayer for a kitty. These are available on line from various pet outlets or one can use a vet treatment at a silly price.

Mean while gently use a flea comb to see what you find.

Could also be an allergy. My cat has an allergic skin condition and scratches his neck a lot, especially after a spot-on treatment. Worth a vet trip if the scratching persists or if she looks sore where she's been scratching.

Treat her, and monitor her. Many products available, I prefer a well recognised brand and use advantage 40 for a kitty.
I treat once and then only little and often if required, which may be 2 or 3 times at most a year.

I did Tigger (now 89 days old) at 10 weeks and 5 days after her first vet visit for inoculations. She was sick in the early hours next morning two or three times as she may have tried to lick clean the area after it appeared to dry and dissipate the day before or had a slight reaction digestively to it. No long lasting effect and she was soon back on her food and no further sickness.
