Hi all
I lost my boy Louis a few weeks ago and I’ve been struggling with a dog free house. It’s now me and my 13 year old cat, Greebo.
At a local rescue there have come 2 young Belgian Shepherd/Malinois crosses in, not sure what they’re crossed with as I think they were strays. I’m going to go and meet them this afternoon, I’ll ask if any more is known about their history. At their vet check the vet said she thought they were around 9 months old so hopefully young enough to adapt to living with a cat but I’m a little apprehensive about it. I’m only thinking of having the one, the rescue have agreed that rehoming them separately is probably best.
It’ll be interesting to see if I can tell what the other breed(s) are, one looks a little like there may be Collie in there but my sister said maybe husky. I guess I’ll have more idea when I meet them, I’ve only seen one photo of each of them as yet.
It may be that there’s no connection between us when I go but if there is I wanted a bit of feedback as to how they generally get on with cats x
