As part of an ongoing saga I ended up with 2 houses (not a bad thing) - rented one out and live in one ... the rental side has been awful and the tenants have been permanently behind on the rent ...

Just got a phone call from estate agents to say I got a viewing for sale!!! Wednesday mid-morning .... I know I shouldn't pin my hopes on one viewing but it shows things are moving!

If I get rid of that house I can draw a line under that part of my life and get on with this part ....

The house is sold - not for what I want, but hey ho ... it's sold and I will be free of a past of my life I would rather not have round my neck.... now the hard part comes - solicitors!!!

Tell them you want each part of the transaction written down in your file including the date and time of received letters and phone calls and when they were answered.
Otherwise the buggers will do what solicitors always do...stretch out the days and weeks so they can make out the process is complicated.Good for charging the earth.
