    story quickly so far

Bred my bitch 4 times over a week.
she had a green discharge on return, had antoi-biotics.

    scanned twice, showed no pups.

Last few days she has seemed nervous when out on walks, looking behind her constantly, not interested in usual games.
(its been 59 days since first mating)
Today she seems to have a clear/whitey discharge.
she is also sleeping alot, restless and looked a bit 'funny' when i was stroking her this morning, like she was going to bite me (very out of character)
Phantom or should i prepare incase of any surprises?

This was her first mating, shes 2, pedigree bullmastiff.
Her behaviour is just very out of character for her

well im not worried about her being poorly or anything, just wondering if its a phantom or if maybe she will have pups!
she has been scanned twice already so im guessing thats pointless again.
not entirely sure how much use a vet would be at the moment.
really wanted to know if anyone else had phantoms like this or if she is going to give birth
she's eating ok, pooing, peeing etc

Take her to the vet!! She could have an infection and go into septic shock. I'm sorry but better safe than sorry.

I would suspect pyometra which will need immediate treatment.

Well she's been, nothing physical wrong, the discharge appears normal, no infection, could be a phantom preg, thats really the only answer at the moment. she's cheered up alot since so just be keeping an extra close eye on her
theres always a possibilty that she is carrying 1 or more pups that were not seen on scan so we just have to stay close and watch and wait incase

was she scanned again? If she is carrying a single ton it is likely labour may not be triggered naturally and intervention may be necessary
