    Hi All

In this time of recession, im trying to find ways to work at home, as well as my current job.

Im looking for things I can do online maybe? Anything I can do while im sat home with the dog...but not Avon or anything similar!

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

i've been looking for something like that also and there's just nothing going that isn't spamming or you have to 'pay' for it first.

    rubbish.

The best thing to look on is gumtree there are sometimes folk looking for home typists (individuals or local companies don't take anything that asks for money up front).

i managed to get a job typing up memoirs for a local farmer but it was only for a few weeks. Was great fun and very interesting tho.

    good luck :D

There are various survey sites online. I know someone who has made a living out of doing them. What you do is complete a certain amount of surbeys then they send you a cheque wyhen you;ve earned enough and the more surveys you do, they more they send you :) google market research surbeys etc to find some good ones.

Another good thing is catalogue delivering, though that's partly commision based but it's flexible hours and you can take the dog and kids if you have them :)

    Peace

Survey sites are worth a look, I'm not sure about making a living from them though. With some of them you get points which you can then exchange for vouchers which is handy for Christmas etc.

I did a bit of freelance typing from home. It was fine but it was a bit of a hit or miss as to whether you get paid. Mystery Shopping can be good if you drive.

    Try Retail Maxim for this.

Also try JobCentrePlus and in the search area with "keywords" type in "home" and it's amazing the things that pop up.

You can pretend to be tarot card reader and all sorts! :D I found a great little job working for a Joiner just dealing with his payroll (5 ppl) and his invoices and letters, I used to go to his house once per week and collect the work.

I gave this up as I was getting cabin fever.
