Great photo..I had trouble enough getting a photo of a greater spotted woodpecker on a tree this week.. As you focus them they seem to realise and dash round to the other side of the tree.. Very camera shy birds!

What an amazing photo. The chap who captured it is on twitter, ive been looking at his feed & hes been inundated with requests to share the photo:)

I was really relieved to hear both weasel and woodpecker survived.

Great picture. I saw 2 weasels once. Not sure how common it is to see them but I was very excited. We were out walking and had stopped on a very quiet narrow country lane for a rest. We sat at the side of the road on a bank and suddenly these 2 weasels ran out from the opposite bank, ran along the road a little bit and back up the bank, right in front of us.

    What a brilliant photograph. :)

If the photographer had not had his camera ready at the exact instant - not a single person would have believed he had seen this ... wow
