I know this may seem a little random, but my window cleaner has just turned up so kinda sparked my mind.
I like to shut my curtains in the room where I am when he comes, I know that may be rude but it just feels weird as if he's gonna look at you or be like nosy or whatever.
    Am I the only one?

We don't have window cleaners any more because I sacked them when they were leaving drips down all the windows. My o/h does them now. I did used to hate them coming though and didn't feel right with them staring in.:)

I have childhood memories of my mother yelling 'Quick! The window cleaners here, run upstairs and shut the curtains!'

Not because anything was going on up there, but she didn't want him to see the mess.

I used to have window cleaners at our old house, but they made me very nervous. They would turn up out of the blue, wash me windows and then demand the money. Usually I never had any in the house. They would get the right hump and say they would be back later that day. I would always make DH pay them. In the end I made him cancel them.

Hahaha... very random but funny... :D

My window cleaner's are old friends & if i'm home when they are doing the rounds i make them a cuppa catch up on any gossip & watch them work, with the odd "you have missed a bit" comment thrown in...:D

I usually start cleaning when I see them. They seem to be coming more and more often here.
