I have a 5 month old male bichon frise who is a fabulous fella. When he plays with other dogs he sometimes bites their ears in a (seemingly) playful manner. We now have a 10 week bichon female who is very small even for a young pup. The problem we have is that Baz pulls the tiny pup by her ears and sometimes by the scruff of her neck. He doesn't seem to be aggressive when he's doing it but obviously it hurts and sometimes frightens Belle. We do not let them play unsupervised as Baz is a little rough given the differences in size. However Belle usually growls at him when she's had enough and he will back away. So after all this rambling(!!!) does anyone know why he pulls her by the ears and scruff and how we go about managing this? I don't want either dog to have a negative experience. Thanks
