Family or a really really good friend.

We're going to Thailand for the Xmas break - our first family holiday in 14 years. Seriously. So my sister who is now married and won't be joining us has Mika and my uncle is having Dante for a couple days then my sister will be taking them both. I'm dreadng leaving them as we've never left them alone with anyone for more than a day! Two weeks is a long time! :(

I dont trust anyone 100%, but i can, and have, left my dogs with my mum.

She cant walk them, but she takes great care of them.

I wouldnt trust ANYONE to take them out of my house.

Yes me too. We've never ever put any of our dogs in kennels ever and I wouldn't trust anyone to look after them so if the dogs can't come then we don't go.

If I go on holiday in the UK, we'll make sure we find a place where Bailey can come with us.

When we went to Bulgaria, my brother's girlfriend's auntie had Bailey for the week and he was fine and she said she'd look after him again.

    What are we like ;)
I just dread to think what would happen if I had an extended stay in Hospital, I don't think I could cope with the separation anxiety :D

The pair I have now I would leave with him that thinks he should be obeyed ( oh ), I refused to leave Ailsa with anyone, I even missed my daughters wedding in America as I wouldn't leave her, I sent oh instead.

I know - my oldest Bichon is so attached to me, he would freak out if I had to stay in hospital.:eek:hmy: I've only ever been abroad twice in my life and the last time was when I was 21 quite a number of years ago. Holidays abroad just don't bother me cos I don't like the heat anyway - I used to when I was younger but can't be bothered with all that sunbathing lark now.

The only problem with finding somewhere in the country is i have 6 dogs and not many places will allow that many so we enjoy our holidays at my gate (bottom of my garden) lol
