look like the black is really deep deep purple
bit like the queen of the night tulip
it is totally stunning though, well done on growing them, i lost my hydrangea last year in the hot weather, i just can seem to keep them alive

Saw some of the petunia the other day - did look black.

On the back of my magazine was an ad for black Agapanthus.

I think the edges of some seem a very deep deep red/purple/plum colour but some are very black to the naked eye, my hydrangeas drink so much water, but I either over water plants or under water them until they become a husk :D

Ooh they look a bit too posh and possibly hard work for me :D

The black petunias are beautiful - a friend put a picture of hers on Facebook and I'd never seen any before.
A black agapanthus sounds fantastic. I think they are stunning in any colour.
I must admit I'm not a hydrangea fan though. This is the first garden I've had without any and I can't say that miss them
