hi, i would love to see pictures of your! im very interested in this breed, i have already know about PLL... what i need to be aware of? behaviours? are they easy to train? would they get on ok in same sex? where can i find breeders who have or will have litters to sell on as im thinking of buy a fawn with white kc reg girl pup after xmas if i find it many thanks

Is this a breed? Never heard of them, hope someone else can clarify, but I thought they were just bull terriers?

Do you know, I had never heard of them, or seen them! Just had a look on the KC website at the BS. Will have to have a look out at shows for them, are there many about or are they fairly rare?

Well good luck finding other owners, will definitely have a look out next time I'm at a show, I like finding out about *new* breeds. I think there's paddyjulie on here who has bull terriers, not sure who else has bull terrier type breeds.

Yeah, there are a few owners of standard size ones on here, but nobody that I'm aware of with a mini. I would definitely contact a breed club though, like this one Home as they might point you in the direction of other owners and clubs - as well as breeders.

I love this breed as well! I really want one but I don't think it fit in with my life style right now and I need to get my dog fully and reliably trained before getting anymore dogs!

An older gentleman local to me has one and is absolutely lovely, trained to perfection and unbelievably obedient! To my knowledge their needs are very much the same as standard bull terriers, they need a lot of mental exercise and can be stubborn but due to there smaller size they are easier to handle as some Bully's can be a bit boisterous with other dogs! As long you socialise her well and are competent in general obedience training and you are consistent then you shouldn't have any problems.

As far as breeders go, I have no idea I'm afraid! I only know of standard bully breeders. Good luck on finding your new pup though

Quite a rare breed as they are on the vulnerable breed list, so you may have to wait a while after christmas, if you have not actively started looking and in touch with breeders already.

Two of my FB friends have mini's so if you are on FB , perhaps if you joined a few bull terrier pages, some people might be able to advise you of how to start finding a reputable breeder who do the relevant health tests

The only difference i have been told about (Obv. there are others), is that the mini is more terrier like than a standard, if that makes sense.
