    I am!

    What are your plans?

I really don’t like NYE anymore and Winnie is only nine weeks old so can’t be left for long. Skip hates fireworks too, so I’ll be at home, in my pyjamas watching crap TV and I can’t think of anything else I’d rather do!

    Who’s with me?

Yup we're in for a night on the sofa. We're looking after two of our friend's dogs as well so full house for us!

    Lots of fun lol!

I’m about to pop Netflix on and lie on the sofa drinking gin and eating all the food!

I did! (It’s all over here!) I was a bit worried because Kenzie hates fireworks, but there were just a few around midnight loud enough to make her whine but not totally flip out.

    I was in my pj's before 5 :)

The boys aren't bothered by fireworks, thank goodness, but I'm not hugely interested in celebrating new years anyway.

I really liked it, usually kids get right on my nerves in film/TV progs but these ones were great & lots of '80's references which was good for me as that was my era.

We have taken ourselves off to Melrose in the motorhome for a couple of nights because I always find New Year a bit of a let-down. We stopped in at the friendly pub for a glass at the end of our afternoon walk but we aren't planning to be out again (apart from last weewee time). Just had a reheated Chinese meal - I always get far too much from our local takeaway so freeze half - and the wine is opened. We might see midnight, depends how much the tv holds our attention, but I won't fret if we don't.

A lazy evening with a drink and going to watch tv. I hate being lazy and been doing too much of it but the dogs don't mind.
