I am not sure if I am posting on the right section however, I am currently on collar number 4 with Molly which is an extra small whippet collar and this is too big. I am not sure if I can get her a normal collar or not?

Does anyone know if i can get a smaller whippet collar or advise on a suitable alternative?

    Thanks

Do you want a leather fish tail collar or will a martingale collar be ok?

My whippets wear these from Collars R Us

    Welcome to Collars'R' Us

Amber has number 84 and Simba number 5. They wear them every day for walking on they have proved to be very hard wearing. I think they have also started doing leather collars too.

How small is her neck? an italian greyhound collar may fit her better my Buck has an 8" neck and he has a tiny leather fish tail collar we bought at crufts this year.

I think it's because their head is smaller than their neck so normal collars just slip off :)

Their heads are not smaller then their necks they would look pretty silly if they were. The can slip nprmal collars off but it is not because they have smal heads. It is more becuase of the sheape of their heads they also have the ability to slip harnesses off all mine can escape from a harness.

The reason they wear wide collars is because they have long necks and to put pressure on a narrow place as a normal collar would could easily damage their necks.

After much deliberation I have finally ordered a new collar for Molly from Cas Collars, Can't wait to get it now.
