I'm going to start stripping and trimming Bo up myself and wanted to know if I should buy single edge thinning scissors or double edge?

A good place to buy scissors is Groomers. They are a fantastic company and there scissors aren't too expensive..

Single Edge: They provide a much more direct and basic cut, allows you to get the job done quickly. They will create visible lines of texture and volume in the coat.

Double Edge: They create a seamless blend in the fur. They allow you to comb out while the blades are closed, allowing the teeth to flow through a dogs coat.

I personally prefer to use the single-edge scissors. But it's each to their own.

Thank for that. I'll only be using them on her ears and beard so i think I'll go with the double edged.
