    Hi
I'm new to guinea pigs. I don't actually have any at the moment but we should, all being well, be rehoming 3 off someone. They are 3 girls who live in the same hutch.

We have a male puppy and have heard that you shouldn't put guinea pigs on the grass where dog's have been (presumably because of the urine). Is this true? As our lawn is fairly small and we don't have anywhere that we can block off to stop the puppy from going on there.

We have a patio which we can put the guinea pigs on but wondering what to do about their run? The hutch is one of those two tiers- top tier being the proper hutch and bottom being the run.
