Are there any sayings, mantras, prayers or anything else that you tell yourself when you are having a difficult time? Does it help you? It helps me to remember 'this too shall pass' if there's a sticky situation going on, or I'm feeling really low. Another one, not really a saying, but I get a lot of anxiety before doing something new or doing chores or going to a club or social event. I try to remind myself that it is' never as bad as I think it is going to be, and it will be over sooner than I think it will be'. Usually I'm pleasantly surprised by the end, but have to remind myself before I do things otherwise I'd probably never do anything! If I'm really scared, I remind myself 'whatever happens, I will still be me'. What helps you?
