I do something similar although I bake a liver cake - the dogs love it. I don't often tell anyone though because some of my friends think I am nuts!!

It is my first time of having a doggy birthday, I am going to make a liver cake for the two of them, but we arent planning on doing anything else, really because they do not need a single thing, we have only owned her coming up 3 months and her younger half brother for 6 months so everything is fairly new and they get treats and new toys regularly so just will get a special fuss and a happy birthday song.

Maybe as they get older and things need replacing etc we will buy more, but the fuss will always be the same.

Same here none of them realise. God we'd be having party everyday in this house if we had parties for them all.

I tend to forget. I am hoping that Toffee's breeder will put a party on as she is local and most of the pups are local.

I did put on a party once for my first standard poodles first birthday and my friends Beardie's second birthday. It was great fun because I was running agility classes so we just had the party instead of class and played lots of games. I always put on a Christmas party too with games.

We dont know exactly when Millie's is but frankly every day is a party for her :D

I'm sure Makita will get a sepcial dinner (To share with Millie of course!) on his Birthday but they ar eboth so spoilt and really dont need anything. :)

BUT they are coming with us to the Peak District to stay in a Hotel in 3 weeks time for a couple of night. And coming on our honeymoon to Snowdonia in August for 14 days. I reckon thats pretty good going between them :D

we had a doggy get-together.....and some PFers came too!

It was a lovely walk, and everyone was better behaved than their owners thought they would be!

And my dogs too need for nothing the rest of the year, but its just the way we do it...they always get their new bed for their birthday and other goodies too...the party itself is a great opportunity for us humans to get together...their breeders get chance to come and spend some time with them and we have a good old catch up,its great to see them socialising with their litter mates and parents...it makes us all happy,so even tho the dogs dont have a clue what day it is,we all have great fun :D

I don't know my two's birthdays. Every day is special for them anyways. Good walks, tasty treats, squeaky balls, comfy beds and a lot of lovin'! :)
Happy second birthday to your dogga, I wish him many more! :)
