rats as a treat. Me and hubby have got them a carrot but gunna cut it up so its easier for the 2 girls to eat, but what else can they have. We've got them alsorts of food from nuggets from Pets at Home, Reggie Rat and a bag of food from Tesco's which my dad got for us as he works in the garden centre. Which is apple and black currant.

But cant remember wat to give them as a treat.

    As addtion to their food

    Apple (small amounts)
    Kale (lots)
    Broccoli
    Spinach
    Carrot
Seeds (low on sunflower seeds and peanuts as high in fat)
    etc
pretty much anything but citrus or potato

    As treats:

    Puppy milk bones
    Small animal treats
nuts (small amounts in shell or not)
Sweet chestnut (roasted lots of, low in fat)
    Raisins
    Sultanas
cooked chicken bones (rats grind their food before swallowing so cooked bones are a good treat)
