I'm not well at the minute (thanks brats, I mean ears and throat,) but I might try a few pancakes with marmite on.

Watch out for a certain artificial sweetner aspartame, people think it can go boom.

Good. You know what I hate and had to ask for help with, when they write ingredients so tiny even full sighted people struggle, a bag of natures menu treats gave me trouble but lovely pets at home staff helped me read the ingredients. They do it with human food too. I said to the chap they could at least write the ingredients in sensible sized font and he said well that would help. Braille ingredients list wouldn't hurt either.

I don't bother with pancakes but if I did it would be the usual lemon and sugar or chocolate sauce .

Nothing today, no time for tea tonight let alone messing about with pancakes. Will probably make some Thursday but they will have nothing on them as I quite like them naked and unembellished:D

whipped cream & fresh fruit [or canned, or frozen, or even dried fruit...] is all good. :)
Dried cherries or prunes or apple slices can be easily re-hydrated with water & a few minutes on low power in the microwave - then pour all over the pancakes, & top with [aerosol] real-dairy whipped cream, U can get the low-fat version which is more milk than cream. :Woot Yummy.

    :Vomit nooooooooooooo that's vile!

Being somewhat of a connoisseur of pancakes ...... the good old faithful of lemon & sugar .... golden syrup .... maple syrup & bacon .... butter .... nutella .... or if you like the more savoury ones, then we could move into the slightly more exotic things like smoked haddock .... chicken and mushroom

Absinthe goes great on pancakes too.:)

Yet the versatile beauty of Absinthe is this, you can also use it with other recipes to add that little extra.............je nes sais quoi

Recipes such as, Rice Pudding, Quaker Oats, Ready Brek and Heinz Baby Foods.

It's much better than Nurse Harvey's Gripe Water that's for sure.:Smuggrin
