I have just found out from Professor Phasmid at Small Life Supplies that I have a rare male Indian stick insect !! I also saw him mate when I was taking them out of tank in big tub to clean the tank. I was like wow!!! He has asked if I can video any future matings as its rarely seen. I'm delighted. 20200901_204316.jpg 20200830_210905.jpg 20200830_210912.jpg 20200901_204304.jpg 20200901_204316.jpg 20200901_204304.jpg Hes beautiful!

That is most impressive, male Indians are very rare. You must try and get a video of him mating with a female Indian. Keep your 'phone ready whenever you are near your stick insects!

I am trying very hard to get it caught on video. It is possible that I may have another Male I'll have a good look when ckean them tonight. Took out 90 eggs last week!! He has mated with at least 2 females so if anyone wants some with the slight possibility of a male please let me know. Usually collect about 35 to 40 eggs and put them in freezer but I started collecting eggs again after seeing him mate. Feel free to let me know if anyone wants eggs and how should I post them
