Hi, i have a 8 year old yorkshire terrier and a couple of weeks ago she started having a few coughing fits that sound wet and snotty, one morning after a coughing fit she started uncontrollably sneezing and it turned out to be a blade of grass in her nose, after it came out the wetness had gone and her coughing had stopped, but then we caught her eating grass again and even though we stopped her while she was doing it she's started doing to cough again and it sometimes leads onto the reverse sneezing. when she's relaxed it doesn't seem to bother her but its when she gets excited that it causes a coughing fit. does anyone have any advise on this and if they have had a similar situation?

I would let your Vet see her.

She could well have an upper respiratory tract infection and may need antibiotics.
