Well I really didnt fancy salad again so Ive made a lovely chilli, I can smell it now and I cant wait to chow down. I would still rather have steak and banofee cheese cake though.

I used to smoke them....or was it Kensitas??

I'm not into this foreign stuff... I've been baking for the week this afternoon...a humongous meat and potato pie fit for Desperate Dan...An apple pie using some free bruised apples I cadged...a dozen sausage rolls...5 cornish pasties...6 chicken thighs...and a big rice pudding. :tongue_smilie:

All in one oven...saves on gas donchaknow! A bit of veg cooked daily and that's me for the next week.

I love pastry...trouble is it doesn't like me...:D I guess I'll finish up swigging milk of magnesia as usual...

    Never tried that...

My old Mum taught me how to make decent pastry and stuffing many moons ago.Nothing gets thrown away in my house, and the dogs get any bits and bobs.
I eat well and cheaply, better than all this supermarket muck I see the young women filling their trolleys with.
Just takes a bit of effort...people don't want to spend the time nowadays...they don't know what they're missing.
