These were all taken yesterday
Yep its been a weird year in general! We had mountains of blackberries in MAY - we don't usually get them here till august/sept. We also have flowers still sprouting up when they're long gone in October. And lot's of wasps and butterflies that are only usually around in the summer are still here! We also have a little robin that comes to visit every winter, but this year he's been here ALL year since last winter for the first time! Strange goings on...
ETA - Beautiful pictures!
This morning I woke up to frost outside.....all gone by 11am but enough to make me see its winter....maybe.lol.
very mild so far.
I have 3 Sunflowers in the garden which are trying and trying to flower, but, I reckon the frost will get to them first !! x
Lovely pics but I have to agree it is weird at the moment. Watched a pair of common darters mating yesterday, and the migrating birds are very late. Hope they all get where they are going before the weather changes. I also have a begonia from 2013 that has been outside for 18 months with no protection still in flower.
Lovely photos Rona, weird but we have been very lucky too.
Fab pictures - a real mixed bag so to speak.
So mild at the moment.
The Geese have just arrived here, the latest I can remember them.
Love the photos and agree such weird weather!
Found this beauty in the bathroom the other day, dont think he got the memo its November!
So......we are now nearly December and..................
Today I saw no less than 7 Butterflies
