A friend has gone back to the UK and had nobody to look after her dog so we introduced him and Spencer and now Khan has come to stay for a few days. Khan's a 7 year old Rottweiler who wants to play just as much as Spen does so it might be a bit of a mad house here for a few days. Hopefully the novelty of having a play mate wears off for the both of them though, if not lots of enforced chill out time by separation.

    Hi Sarah,

The two dog shows so well together.:)

Just thought, probably, Spencer's new winter collar doesn't stay clean for a long time if they are preoccupied in the game.:p

And their common games tune you to joy, I guess.:)

    Have a nice day,

    Alex

Well both dogs are now lying quietly. Maybe this isn't going to be as crazy and hectic as I thought. At least they are able to chill out a bit without being separated.

They're both seeming to enjoy having a playmate. Although it has descended into humping quite a few times. Neither dog objects but I step in anyway, it's not behaviour I want Spen getting into the habit of and nor do I want him getting irritated by it and snapping.

Glad they can chill out and lie quietly together. A good sign that you won't end up hiding in a cupboard. :D

    Gorgeous!!!

Just something I would recommend though... Please remove their collars if they're playing, so their jaws don't get caught up in the collars. The outcome of which, can be fatal.

i second this. when we had my boyfriend's dad's dog to stay i wouldn't let them anywhere near each other until collars were off, better safe than sorry, plus they like biting each others' necks!
lovely pic though, hope they have fun :)
