One of my work colleagues had to take her dog to the vets last night as she was very poorly, vomiting and shaking etc. It turns out that this vets has had 4 dogs in the last 2 days die from antifreeze poisoning!

Some sick b*****d is putting antifreeze in the puddles at central park, and I just thought I would spread the word.

My friends dog is on a drip in the vets, but has been having seizures and is very poorly :( So if you walk your dog there, or know of anyone that does, please don't let your dog drink from the puddles!

Fingers crossed for poor little Molly xxxx

I know, it's disgusting! It's my regular haunt, so will be watching Maddie like a hawk. Hopefully with the hot weather all of the puddles will dry up now! xx

I'll be letting every dog walker I see know about it. Are the park wardens aware of whats happened?

How do you go about getting hold of the park wardens? I will find out from my friend if the vets have done this, if they are worth their salt they will have!

Molly is still with us :D better this morning, they sedated her overnight because she was freaking out, almost appeared drunk. She is not so bad today, but it still twitching in her limbs sometimes. They are testing her kidneys today to see if there has been any damage xx

Thanks for the warning. I live across the water and dont tend to go there but it's local to me.

I really hope Molly pulls thro and my heart goes out to owners of other dogs that have died. Cant begin to imagine the pain both the dogs and their owners go thro. Culprits should be made to drink the stuff.

Cant find a link to the petition??
