Wanted!! Your opinion please? New business idea!

    Hello

    I'm new to the forum but wanted your opinion if possible.

    As a dog owner or user of dog groomers would you use a service in between grooms that came into your home to trim nails, tidy feet, eyes, sanitary areas, de-tangling small mats, ears and teeth?

    No bathing, clipping or drying just an MOT.

    If so, what would you pay?

    The only requirement I have for my dog is nail trim so don't think it would be worthwhile.

    As it is I ring a groomer 3 miles away to ask if I can pop in and it costs me a fiver.

    Most groomers already offer nail cutting/tidy trims/brush out for in between, as well as the baths, full grooms etc.
    If the inbetween is all that is on offer, I don't personally see much use

    Thanks for the replies - a friend of mine said she would prefer someone coming to the house to do the bits she couldn't - but wasn't sure if most people would rather have the whole groom while I was there.

    If you combined with another service such as dog walking or minding, it could work. Some groomers are too busy to do a simple MOT as you suggest.
