    Hello,

If you have a cat aged 8-16 weeks and you are at least 18yrs old and live in the UK, researchers at the University of Bristol would love to hear from you. They are undertaking an exciting questionnaire-based study designed to help improve the health and welfare of cats.

Being involved in this study will take very little time, but will really make a difference to cats in the future - please help!

For more information and a link to the first questionnaire, please visit our website Bristol University School of Veterinary Science - ‘Bristol Cats’ study or ring 07827 981412.

    Thank you!

    Hi Jane
I'd really like to take part in this, but our kitten is six months. Could this be done retrospectively?
Also how long is the study open to new kittens? We have a five week old kitten reserved for us who will come home when he's 13 weeks - will he still be able to take part?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello there

Thanks so much for getting in touch and offering to take part. There is still plenty of time to register your new kitten as the project is running until December 2011. We've had a chat about the possibility of using retrospective data but it is important to be accurate, so probably best to miss this one out. If you are super keen however, you could complete the second questionnaire for the older kitten and continue doing so for the remainder of the study.

Once again, thank you very much for getting involved and best of luck with the new arrival!

    Best wishes

    Jane:)
