I have read that if giving fish oils, then vit e should be supplemented.

My boy gets salmon oil daily with his raw diet so for an 18kg dog how much vit e should I be giving?

Also to add, he gets sardines or mackerel in sunflower oil twice a week - would that make up the vit e

    Thanked in advance :D

I have no idea if you need to supplement but for his SLO Ely gets Vitamin E 400 i.u. twice a day and he's a 27kg greyhound. He also gets 5 1000mg salmon oil capsules a day for the same thing.

Don't know if that's helpful or not!

How much sunflower oil is in the fish, and how much vitamin e? Does it mention the quantity on the tin?

50 IU per day for small dogs (or even less for tiny dogs),
100 IU for medium-sized dogs, and
    200 IU for large dogs.

However you may find it difficult to source Vitamin E at less than 200IU so you could give larger amounts less often. EG you could give 200IU 3 times a week.
