Like the title suggests! Does anyone know of a vet in SE, preferably Kent, who does laproscopic surgeries? I know its a new field but Im impressed with the lack of stitches and 1 week full recovery time, much easier to keep your pooch calm for that long!! Would happily pay double or more for a better experience for Hannah and I have a friend with a miniature Sphynx who feels the same.
Anyone heard of, or had this done??

Hiya yes i do- but - in fife up here in scotland. The vet who does it may know colleagues down south but not sure - it is not something very many vets are doing as it does require much extra skill and a lot of very expensive equipment.

When Molly was speyed my vet did it by keyhole surgery. She had no stitches as such to come out and was wanting to play as normal the day after the operation. We were told not to let her off her lead for a week but as she was playing and jumping on her friend, who is a Brittany Bassett, the day after the op we had to let her off her lead after about 4-5 days. It didn't cost me any extra to have her done this way and it would seem that this is the way my vet does this surgery as the norm.
