Sixstar has helped me work out a 6 week menu for the girls + a shopping list :)

Cos they've been getting nutriment, and the odd chicken wing, I'm going back to the basics and introducing one protein at a time over the six weeks. Even though they've been getting raw over the last month or so they've not had all the proteins.. so wanted to do it slowly.

Here is my shopping list - all done and ordered and coming on Thurs :)

    8 x 454g packets of chicken mince
    4 x 454g packets of lamb mince
    2 x 454g packets of beef mince
    1 x 454g packet of beef & chicken mince
1 x 454g packet of minced beef tripe
    1 x 454g packet of beef heart
1 x 454g packet of minced oily fish
1 x 454g packet of minced white fish
1 x 454g packet of minced tripe & oily fish
    1 x 1kg packet of chicken carcasses
1 x 4kg packet of meaty lamb bones
    1 x 1kg packet of lamb hearts
    1 x 2 pack of pig trotters
    1 x 2 pack of turkey necks

Thanks so very much Sixstar for your time and patience.

Ohhhh that looks really good :D

Out of curiosity (because I'm a nosey sod ;)) - how does the cost compare to what you were feeding before?

The Nutriment would cost me £103 for 3 months (though I've never done it, but worked out the costings) and this is costing me £29.89 for a minimum of 6 weeks.

The girls weigh 9.6 KG and 8.4 KG

To be honest I wouldn't have been happy feeding raw DIY, it's only cos Sixstar has worked out a balanced diet that I feel OK doing it :)

Yes Nutriment is complete, and a good raw food - just out of my budget to be honest

Where are you ordering from CM?

Glad you've been able to work it all out. Now just hope it all fits in your freezer - I always over order!

Nutriment might be a good option for us as Tango is only small, so I'm sure I could feed her for less than half of that.

I don't think Sixstar will mind me posting the menu,
Bearing in mind I'm treating the girls as they're completely new to raw, so introducing each new protein slowly over 6 weeks. Also it's based on my dogs likes and dislikes.
