Lastnight when I got home from shopping, I had been in glasgow all day, left home at 8am to go for the train, got back after 9 because mum didn't finish work until then.

I cooked myself some super noodles,a d somehow managed to leave the ring on low ALL night!

Luckily I am not one of these people who puts things on top of my cooker (not since my dad set his on fire by throwing a tea town on theirs when it had been left on!

I just took the dog's chicken out of the microwave to take off the bone and rested my hand ontop of the cooker and OMG it bl**dy hurt!! :crying:

I have burned 2 of my fingers :(

I am normally so careful about switching all the rings of, and usually switch it off at the wall.

Think that will teach me to be even more careful!

Oooops. I did something quite similar. I put the oven on to 1/2 mark just to warm some plates up. When it's on half mark you can't hear it (It makes that roaring noise when it's higher because it's a range) so I completley forgot it was on.
I left in one from about 5pm until 8am the next morning.

Gas bill was quite high that month.

Ouch! I hope you feel better soon. Hopefully the mag I'm sending will cheer you up.

My sister put an egg on a boil once and then feel asleep. The pan boiled dry and the egg went off like a bomb, the whole place smelt of eggs for days.
