Her owners are heart broken that they are having to part with thier 16yr old cat http://www.petforums.co.uk/cat-resc...me-needed-16yr-old-female-cat-derbyshire.html because they have had her since she was a kitten. They also have a female Rottweiler that also urgently needs a home. I dont have any details as yet but we are going to visit the family later to have a chat and get more details.

The ladies son has a 10 day old baby that is coming out of great ormand hospital with a tracheotomy fitted to its throat. The baby cannot be near any animals because of the possible risk of any fur entering the tube.

The family was given our number by our local vets to see if we could help with the cat and dog . Sadly we donnot have the resources or space for an elderly cat and large dog we already have an elderly Persian that needs life long medication. The family would be extremely grateful to anyone that can take this lovely Holly.

If anyone can help then please contact us at admin@the-kats-whiskers.co.uk Thank you.

PS. This is extremely urgent because the babies arrival home is imminent

Please also join my forum (see below) for a list of cats and kittens
needing loving homes. or to cross post your own add.

Thank you, yes please do cross post.
We are arranging to go and speak with the owners to get more details of the dog age etc.

We are going to call a freind who works for the council who also works for a few dog rescues. I am doing what i can to help get this dog a home.

someone mentioned on the rescue forum that you could try The Cinnamon Trust for the cat.

Holly is 6yrs old and spayed with a docked tail, she is not good with kids.
She also needs some training and needs someone with a firm hand.
She does need a muzzle when out as she has bitten twice to
protect her owners. She is perfectly ok with owners and thier children.
She is house trained and good on the lead. She is an excellent guard dog
she will not allow strangers in the house. Hence picture being taken by us from indoors.

Please contact me if interested. at Purrrrfect@the-kats-whiskers.co.uk Thank you.
