I rescued a very underweight 8 month old
Golden Labrador a short while ago.
He didn't know how to play and was very badly behaved
and had not been on any good walks if at all.
He now knows a few commands such as.....
Sit, Stay, Wait, Down and give a paw, heal (getting there)
He did whine if he could see Millie but is getting better. :D

We took him to the vets yesterday for a health
check and his microchip. The vet gave him a clean
bill of health and said his weight was just right for
his age and breed. Next on the agenda is to get
    him vaccinated.

I will get some up to date pics asap. :D

ps... he's still not getting the idea of where
to go to the toilet. Oh well i'll just persevere.
It's just a good thing we have tiles in the kitchen and laminate
on the hall that is being replaced with tiles soon. lol :D

You have done an excellent job with him so far and he will eventually learn where to go for his toilet, just be patient like you have been. well done.

When i take him outside and tell him "Go Wee Wee's"
and he does i give him a huge fuss and a treat. And if he does it
indoors i totally ignore him. His previous owner made a rod
for his new owners back :(

He is really enjoying his new life. He's very close
to Millie and he users her as a security blanket.

Congratulations on rescuing your lovely boy. His being underweight suggests he has had a bit of a difficult time and his insecurity and need for Millie is understandable. Probably contributing a bit towards the toilet training as well I expect.

Not sure how long you have had him but probably not as long as the possible 8 months previous. Gradually he will settle and become more confident. I am sure that when it happens you will reap the rewards for all your efforts 10 fold. He will eventually relax and enjoy the lovely home he has found.

Thank goodness he has you and Millie
