How disgusting. They don't even have the pathetic excuse of being not old enough to know better. They should be tied to a 4x4 and dragged round a field till they drop. Nasty evil swines.

If have no hesitation in driving that one over the most rockiest and cactus ridden land that could be found

Surely a 74 year old should know better and have seen and.lived through horrors to realise that its a cruel cruel thing to do

Further proof that there are some scum in this world and why the hell do people treat horses as public property? I'm sick and tired of educating idiots about not feeding/touching animals they don't own or pay the vet bills for.

That's one of the most shocking pieces of cruelty I have ever heard. I cannot comprehend people like this.

Sadly, it happens a fair bit and just isn't reported. There was a foal strangled and dumped near us a while back. Again, a colt. Maybe they're only interested in mares for breeding. :(

There has been a lot lately :(

Poor horses, a lot of them are so docile and trusting, they look at you with those deep trusting eyes

Having spent the entire day and most of my evening at work trying to save one of our horses coming home to this makes me very sad. In 20 minutes I'll be back off out to walk a horse with colic around for 10 minutes and an hour after that I will go out again and so on until I either need to call the vet back out for more meds or until I'm happy to leave him for the night.

maybe it has something to do with nobody wants to buy colts, owners won't have them on yards and gelding costs a fortune.

Last colt we had gelded cost me £200. and it varies from area to area.

no excuse for cruelty at all

I think the RVC charges about £120, certainly not loads  Whilst I don't agree with automatically castrating dogs, I definitely would cut a horse, there's no need to keep a stallion unless you're a stud farm.

Truly evil ..... Heartbreaking , i would like to think the poor thing didn't suffer , but in reality it probably did :sad:......

I would happily meter out the same treatment to those evil B@stards who caused it's death ..... Sick gets .... They will probably get a slapped wrist

How can anyone be so evil? I really hope someone will torture them and cause them as much pain as they caused that poor horse, it must have been petrified.

I just can't understand these type of people, they need tying down and torturing very slowly so they will endure a slow painful death.
